Question: texas holdem
Answer: 1. Royal flush: A, K, Q, J, 10 in the same suit. Odds 1 in 650,000.
2. Straight flush: five cards of the same suit in order, but not royal. Odds 1 in 65,000.
3. Four of a kind: Four Aces beats, and so on down. Odds 1 in 4,000.
4. Full house: Three of kind and two of another. Highest three cards beats other full houses. Odds 1 in 700.
5. Flush: Five of the same suit, not in contiguous sequence. Odds 1 in 500.
6. Straight: Five in contiguous order, but not all the same suit. Odds 1 in 250.
7. Three of a kind: Aces beat lower threes. Odds 1 in 50.
8. Two pair: Hand with highest pair wins. In a tie (very rare!), highest fifth card wins. Odds 1 in 20.
9. One pair: Highest pair wins. In a tie, highest remaining card wins. Odds 1 in 2.333.
10. No pair hands evaluated by highest card wins.

    1st: royal flush, ten thru ace all same suit
    2nd: straight flush, all five cards the same suit in consecuitve order.
    3rd: four of a kind, all four of the same value.
    4th: full house, three of one kind and two of another.
    5th: flush, all five cards the same suit.
    6th: straight, all five cards in consecutive order, no matter the suit.
    7th: three of a kind, three cards of the same value.
    8th: two pair, two pairs of cards of the same value.
    9th: one pair, a pair of cards that are the same value.
    10th: high card, the highest card value, 2-ace.
