What’s this week’s poker hands question? Let’s dive straight in…
Question: I have played the game Trivial Persuit ( Genus Edition) and have looked up in the AINSLIE'S COMPLETE HOYLE edition copyright of 1975 and wish to know the correct answer.
Answer: The worst possible 5 card hand:
A2346 where at least one card is of a different suit than the others.
However, in certain games like Razz or Omaha 8, straights and flushes don't count when determining the low hand, so the best possible hand is the wheel:
A2345

If the top card is five or lower, you'll make a pair or straight so: A, 2, 3, 4, 6. And I guess the 6, 4, 3 and 2 should be whatever the lowest suit is - hearts. The A should be a club.

1,2,3,4,6 is the lowest poker hand as long as they are not of the same suit this would be a flush other than this suits don't matter in any poker game that i know of. I've worked in casinos for the last 20 years.
