There are thousands of sites out there that offer online hold 'em - so I wouldn't be worried about that if you've just started learning to play. Listed in the sources is a link to a site offering a free online poker school - it's a pretty good course covering everything from a breif basic history of the game various strategies, poker tools, tells, and more. You're able to do everything at your own pace and go back and reference something you had learned early. Hope you find this helpful!

Party Poker is nice because it is fast, and can be for money or for fun. It also has all options, like single table, multi-table, tournaments, no-limit, pot-limit, etc.
