We’ve had a reader question come in on the subject of poker. Let’s take a look:
Question: If Alex Roidriquhez could take a magic pill to be a better Poker player i bet he’d take it.
BQ: How’d A-Roidy do in his first game back from Vacation?
Answer: I guess a-roid could get botox treatments. They make it difficult to make out facial expressions and would perhaps give him an edge in poker games.
BQ: A-Roid was 0-5 in his return from the DL today. I am sure plenty of Yankees fans will come in and give me thumbs down and tell us how great he was in his return though. They are never concerned with facts.

Back in the day, the "Breakfast of Champions" for top poker players was alcohol and cigarettes, with maybe a quick nine holes - at high stakes - before sitting at a table for half a day or more. If A-Rod ever matched cards with Gabe "Welcome Back Kotter" Kaplan, he would need to be fed intraveneously from the Fountain of Youth for the next 20 years to pay off the gambling debt.

From vacation? He wasn’t on vacation, he was on the DL. Being on the DL isn’t being on vacation.
