Full Tilt Poker?

Another poker question has come in this week. Let’s tackle it straight away:

Question: Does anyone use this to play online poker?
Answer: Yes, I play almost exclusively on Full Tilt.

This kind of thing comes down to a matter of personal preference, but I like the interface, the speed with which I can get money off the site, and the community.

I have heard that the competition on Full Tilt is of a slightly higher quality than found on the sites which spend more on advertising (Party and Stars), but I've found the games soft enough to make money consistently for the past many months.

I can't say this enough times about Full Tilt, though. Even if you don't plan on playing there, start an account (you don't even to to deposit to do this) so you can take advantage of their "Tips From the Pros" emails that will show up once or twice a week in your inbox. These tips are Poker gold and cover a variety of games.

Another cool thing about FTP is the chance to interact with some of the highest profile players around. I'll admit that Jesus and Phil Ivey seem to spend their minimum of ten-hours a week playing, but you can very often find John D'Agostino or Richard Brodie AKA Quiet Lion, not to mention Hoyt Corkins, Andy Bloch and a whole bunch of others playing in both the high-stakes rooms (way too rich for my blood), but also sometimes at lower stakes. I've even seen Jesus play for play-chips (there were hundreds of people on the waiting list to play with him.)

Good Luck.

Yes I play there, mostly for play chips and mostly in free tournaments and lower NL games. If you are in just for the fun of it, as I am, I think you would love this site.
It has some features, that no other site has, like the cartoon type Avatar's, dozens of different ones to chose from, you can even change their expression, you have a choice of 7 different layouts which you can change at anytime with just a click. You can reload more chips easily, so you will not miss a hand, if you are all in. Some sites won't let you get more chips until after the hand is over. You can even change you position on the table with one click, on the other sites you can't do that.
I have 8 different sites down loaded and I play on all of them, but I prefer Full Tilt.
Hope to see you there, look me up, say hello. CottonPatch

Yes I have played at Full Tilt. They offer playing against some poker pros, but I have never had a chance to play against them in a sit n go or any ring games. I play at Hollywood Poker where celebrities "actually" show up to the tables!
