I just love answering these poker questions. Here’s another:

Question: I had a AAA25

lost to

A2345

wtf thats a high card hand. If that is somehow a straight then are there any more of these irregularities?

Answer: Your opponent had what is known as "the wheel" its the lowest straight possible in a poker game, though still a straight

    Ace is considered a "1" or "11"

In this case the Ace is a "1" issuing the lowest straight

If the case was 10JQKA , then the ace would be "11" or a MOUNTAIN hand

Just like black jack the Ace can be issued two numerical values

Sorry, but i’m not sure what you consider "irregular". You had 3 of a kind and you lost to a straight. If you’re not sure of the rules then please do some reading and learn the basics of the game with play money.

Your opponent has straight to 5
and you has three of a kind, which has less ranking to straight. So you loose, whats the big deal in it.

See poker hand ranking chart on Wikipedia for your confirmation http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/bd/Poker-hands.png

You can see easily in that chart also that straight has more ranking than 3 of a kind. So you loose.

    Better luck next time.
