What’s this week’s question? Let’s dive straight in…
Question: How Many Chips Should I Give out at a Poker Tournament?
Answer: A good rule of thumb is for each player to start off with 100 X the big blind or the ante. If you want the game to run longer, set the initial chip count higher (or the ante/blind lower), and if you want it to go faster, set the initial chip count lower (or the ante/blind higher).

Two denominations
First denomination should be 20 chips each player
Second denomination should be 10 chips each player and each chip to have twice value of first denomination
Thus each player starts with 30 chips. Enough to stack but not too space consuming.
