This week’s question is as follows:
When Chris Ferguson did his $0-$10,000 challenge, it took many months before he could get establish a bankroll that was not constantly at risk. Seven months before he got his bankroll to stabilize at $6.50. He played freerolls to start it out. The he would lose it and have to go again. At about 10 months in, he came in 2nd a $1 tourney which netted him $104. It took him 9 more months to get to $10K (and I still want to know how he did that!) He used strict bankroll management throughout, with some minor fudging at the lowest levels. Now you factor in that he one of the best players out there, so when he lost his roll, it wasn’t because he played badly. It was variance. I wonder how a big stakes player kept his patience through all the months of playing for pennies.
Others have explained how you use FPPs, Academy points and such. If you do one Academy Sit-n-learn a month to qualify for the monthly freeroll, that’s a pretty easy freeroll to cash in. Don’t do a lot of the quizzes — you can only take each one once and qualify once per month.
There’s no free ride. But if you can build a bankroll from nothing, that would be very impressive.

You are probably not even 18 years old and can’t even legally play.
I say that because if you really knew how to play poker profitably, and you really were 18+, then you would make a deposit with your own money, get the bonus (which means absolutely nothing if you can’t play poker), and you’d start winning your own money.
Be patient. If you’re as good as you think you are, (and you almost certainly are not), then you will have plenty of time to make money.
In the meantime, don’t quit school! You’ll need a good education no matter what you do.
