not really, if you arent taking money that should be to support
your family and paying your bills on time, then I dont see what
the ( pardon the pun ) "big deal" is. I would love to go on a cruise
and go to the gambling casino. I went to The Taj and had a blast.

The playing of poker is not a sin on its own, but how many people do you know that play poker without money?
When people play poker to win money because of the love of money,(the root of all evil) then you have the sin.
