Well here’s a question I just had to answering straight away:
Question: what is considered cash game success, for example if your sitting at a table with $50 and after an hour or so you have $90, is this typical success or average?
what kind of percentage is good enough to leave a session? i tend to hang around too long and either lose some of my profit or all of it.

Answer: Everyone is wrong. You can’t judge for sure if a session was success. Unless you make an obvious mistake like calling a raise with a marginal hand vs. a tight player… then you know you screwed up.
The only true way of finding out if you are succeeding is by having a large sample of hands. If you are profiting after at least I would say around 50k hands then you are a winning player. Being a real winner in poker is all about long term not just one session.

success in general would be breaking even or better. However a very good player would say complete domination (everyone’s chips at the table) is a mark of success. Or you bank account rapidly increasing. Good luck on the tables.

If you feel you’ve made every decision correctly to the best of your ability given the information available I would call that a great success. Whether you win several times your initial buyin or bust out is irrelevant. Making the right decisions will get you the best results in the long run. Along a similar vein, it doesn’t matter how long you play provided you are a winning player at the table.

You start with $50, you leave with $52. Success. You got hours of entertainment… AND it didn’t cost you anything.
Everyone is going to define that differently. You playing for fun… grinding to make pay your rent… or somewhere in between?

Whenever you win, setting aside at least 5% of what you have won would be good, or 2% at least. And don’t stay too long. Most people stay too long because they are chasing their losses. That is not a good idea. When you win, set aside what you have won and only use your plan budget for the night. That’s it.
There is no typical nor average success in playing at online casinos since your chances of winning and losing is always a 50/50. You only win if you know how to manage well your earnings and winnings while gambling.

Anything above 2 Big Bets per 100 hands would be considered succesful over the long run. 2 Big Bets in a $1 / $2 cash game = $8 / 100 hands.

There is no stand up when you have this much, or when you lose this much. That thinking is far from profitable.Don’t think about the money, just ask your self constantly "How am I playing", "How am I running" etc etc.Money is no indicator of how long you should play.
