Another poker question has come in this week. Let’s tackle it straight away:
Question: I was on the button with 3 9 off. Very aggressive player ( who was a good player since he was playing good aggressive yet seemed to know when he was beat and folded at one point aq to a 3 bet after he got re raised from the high jack when he opened in middle position to a vs a tight player…) now he was making lots of moves and since I had a tight image because I was card dead I decided to make a squeeze play, ( 1 other solid player had called the aggressive guys pre flop raise which was 3x the BB ( this was a tournament btw and it was 1 more player until thr bubble burst however I was only here ftw.I 3 bet to 4x his pre flop raise and to my suprise he instant called and the other guy mucked… Now from history I had gathered a read that when he instant called pre he had a small pocket pair and he did raise with any pair in mid position… Flop came 336c he checked ( looked like he checked dark) and I bet 2/3 pot. He thought abit than called. Turn was another 3!!! He checked again and I bet 2/3 of the pot again and he instant shoved! I snap called him and he showed 66633!!! Obv I had quads…. Now this hand is mad but if you guys don’t know me, the river was just the everyday card… It was the 1 outer case 6.. So I busted out from a field of over 20,000 players in 433 place for a prize of nothing……….. I mean I know there’s luck in poker, but come on!
Answer: Since you haven’t started reading a book yet, nor read my answers, I haven’t read your question.
I’m just gonna play the odds here and say, bad. If I could bet on it every time you asked it, I’d be a rich man! Though I’d probably have to lay 1000:1 odds.

Meanwhile, had you won the hand, there would be someone posting on a board about sites being rigged because people raise with 3-9 and hit quads.
