A poker question that should definitely interest you all this week
Question: Whats Your Fav. Poker Hand?
Answer: The best starting hand in poker is pocket A's. That's my favorite. Pocket K's would be my second choice. CottonPatch

My favorite poker hand would have to be pocket fours. Ideally I like to see "Darth Vader," ie, two black fours. Dark fours = Dark Force = Darth Vader.
When you flop a set with a small pair like this you can make a lot of cash, especially if you have called a preflop raise. It can be very difficult to put people on a small set.
Generally speaking I like to slow-play in this situation unless there are two to a flush on the board, in which case I'll bet the pot making it expensive (and incorrect) for draws to call.
The happiest situation is when you run your small set into AK and an hits on the flop. Those pots can pad your bankroll nicely.
A warning, though, if you don't flop a set (or a decent straight draw), chasing is a terrible mistake. Yes, it can be painful to fold and then see that you would have made your hand on the turn or river, but unless you're playing with nincompoops, they'll make it a mistake to chase that two-outer.
