I just love answering these poker questions. Here’s another:
Question: I want to know, how does a poker room poker game work? Do I buy chips with my money, then play, then can I quit the game at any time even if I still have chips & cash out?

Answer: In any ring game you can stand up and go at any time, i do it all the time. i’ll sit down at a table and win a big pot right away so i get up and go home since i meet my goal for the day. You can also leave and come back if you .like as well. If you leave a cash game the dealer will deal you out and if you miss your blinds he will throw a lamer (marker) next to your seat. When you get back you just have to post the blinds you have missed to play the next hand.

No, you can’t get up and come back without losing hands. They’re not gonna wait for you, if that’s what you mean.
But you can quit at any time.

If it is a regular ring game (not a tournament), then yes. You can leave at any time, even if you are in the middle of a hand (your hand will be folded).
