PokerStars is probably the best online poker room for play and real money. They have the most players and the most freerolls. More info here:

I play at pokerstars. I won with free money but playing with real money even at the micro stakes is a grind man. Though I am a tight player and they like to go all in with anything that is mathematically correct.
