I just love answering these poker questions. Here’s another:
Question: Playing online poker from the UK and signing up with a site just how easy is it to withdraw various amounts of your own winnings, if you are good enough to be winning regularly that is? I have a bank account and VISA debit cards but do you really have to be on online banking as well? or do they send cheques? Just asking in advance of playing for the first time, any advice appreciated.
Answer: It’s really easy, especially for UK players. If you use a debit card you can deposit to the site with the card and then withdraw your winnings directly back to the card - even if the withdrawal is in the tens of thousands (some allow up to £100k per withdrawal).
Alternatively you can use PayPal, just like you would to buy something from ebay etc… Not every poker site offers paypal, but a lot of the big UK names do. Here’s a list of UK regulated poker rooms that take paypal: http://www.goodbonusguide.com/paypal-poker-sites.html

You can deposit and withdraw with your VISA card, its very simple. Anticipate depositing more than withdrawing.

Use Netteler or Moneybookers.
