Keep the poker questions coming! I liked this one:
Question: I say my boyfriend is addicted to poker. However, he says he isn’t. He plays it all day long on weekends and almost every day throughout the week, even if it’s just a few short games. He is paying & playing for real money. He’s "up" right now and winning big tournaments, but I’m afraid that it’s going to eventually start going badly. I mean, how long can you win, right? It wouldn’t be that big of a deal if it weren’t for the fact that he’s not paying ANY bills & I pay for everything (well, sometimes he’ll pay for a meal but we don’t go out that much.) All of these tournaments also last for hours a day, sometimes like 10-11 hours where he’s just sitting on the couch. I feel ignored & used. What should I do?
Answer: it sounds like he could have a gambling addiction. He will need to get help and if he doesn’t want it than you might have to leave because he may be up now but he could lose everything in a second.
